A highly productive day in getting ready for the April 4 PD. After exploring a few different ideas we decided to structure our PD around SAMR (substitution, augmentation, modification, and redefine) and the use of iPad minis within small learning groups. Although the PD sessions are scheduled for a short period of time I feel those who attend will have a better grasp of SAMR and stronger understanding of the expansive role technology has in the classroom.
