The i-Pads have arrived. We are just waiting for the sync cart (thanks to our very understanding Principal).
Joe and I visited our local comic book store, Rogue Comics and got some great ideas for graphic novels for the project. We just need to get the purchase order together and we can make the order.
We also have our own Google Certified Teacher, Joe Sisco, coming in early October to get all my classes set up on Google Docs for use on the iPads.
Joe and I are going to use our release time, next Monday, the 30th of September, to get our first lessons ready. We are going to concentrate on how to read graphic texts, including both form and content. We will be relying heavily on Scott McCloud's books.
The comic book store was the most fun, though.
